This 2000 Altec D947TR digger derrick is mounted on a CME 800HD all-terrain crawler carrier with rubber tracks. The carrier is powered by a Cummins diesel engine and features a hydrostatic transmission. The machine has 3,247 operating hours recorded for the carrier.
The digger derrick has a rated capacity of 24,000 pounds and a 47-foot sheave height. Its three-section hydraulic boom is center-mounted over the carrier and is listed as insulated. Equipment includes a heel winch, pole guides, a pin-on bucket, and a riding console.
Four hydraulic outriggers provide support during operation. Additional features include joystick and lever controls, tool circuits, a 2.5-inch Kelly bar, a strobe light, and a pintle/combination hitch. The source lists the carrier and digger derrick separately, so the 3,247 hours apply to the carrier; hours for the Altec attachment are not listed.
